- We are looking for an experienced logistics coordinator, based in Al Khobar (Dammam) KSA, with first-hand experience dealing with warehouses and transporters in the Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the transportation (inbound and outbound) and warehousing of chemical products, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and quality requirements. The Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for managing inventory levels. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and manage relationships with transport companies - Establish and manage relationships with warehousing companies - Optimize logistics costs and make suggestions to management wrt short and long term strategies for cost savings - Support the back office that coordinates the deliveries of chemical products to customers, ensuring timeliness and efficiency - Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements related to the storage,transportation and handling of chemical products - Support in managing inventory levels and coordinate with the back office to ensure adequate supply of products - Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise - Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement logistics strategies that support business objectives - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, inventory levels, and supplier information - Prepare reports on logistics performance, including delivery times, inventory levels, and transportation costs - Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in the logistics function
