Five years following Masaaki Yuasa’s departure from Science Saru of Dandadanfame, he’s finally announced that he’s formed a new studio, altogether. In 2020, Yuasa announced that he was stepping down as president of Science Saru, citing a desire to take a break from directing. Yuasa had only just begun to be recognized worldwide for his talents, so the announcement was nothing but a shock to fans old and new.
