A major casting update for the follow-up to 2024's Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire sets the stage for the Monsterverse debut of fan-favorite Toho kaiju that hasn't been seen on the big screen in more than 50 years. The cast is starting to take shape for the upcoming sequel to Godzilla X Kong, which is set to release in 2027 with Grant Sputore (I Am Mother) in the director's chair.
