Paramount+ subscribers have a reason to start looking through Warner Bros.’ movie library, even if their subscription does not include those films yet. According to SkyDance, Paramount completed its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery on October 6, 2026, bringing Paramount+ and HBO Max under the same owner. David Ellison’s plan is to offer bundles first, then combine the services over time (via Deadline). That could eventually bring Warner’s movies and Paramount’s programming into one service, though what existing subscribers would need to pay or change remains unclear.
