Disney’s live-action remake of Hercules needs to recapture some vital elements of the animated movie to be successful. In the style of the Disney Renaissance, Hercules recounts a version of the legendary hero’s life and adventures with some underrated songs and supporting characters. Like with many remakes, there are some design difficulties with adapting characters intended for animation into the live-action medium.
