Tony Shalhoub returned to his beloved role as Adrian Monk in Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie in 2023, but will there be a Monk 2? Continuing the success of the procedural mystery comedy Monk which ran from 2002 until 2009, Mr. Monk's Last Case sees the eponymous detective called out of retirement to help solve a mysterious death that strikes close to home. Despite more than a decade away from their respective roles, most of the cast returned and recaptured the magic that made the series so popular in the aughts.
