Paramount+ will reportedly not go ahead with its Dungeons & Dragons live-action TV show, despite a series order. The arrival of 2023s Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves breathed new life into the venerable D&D universe as an IP with the potential for live-action adaptation. Even before the movie hit theaters, on its way to a successful $204 million box office run, Paramount+ was eager to team with Hasbro on a Dungeons & Dragons live-action show, which they gave a straight-to-series order back in January 2023.
