Under Paris does not explicitly reveal how many human characters die from the shark attacks throughout its runtime, but gives a fair idea about what the overall kill count could be. Directed and co-written by Xavier Gens, Netflix's Under Paris recently became a sleeper hit on the streaming platform and is surprisingly also being compared with Steven Spielberg's Jaws for its terrifying portrayal of sharks. Given how Under Paris' Rotten Tomatoes critics' score is 62%, it clearly does not rank as high as Jaws in terms of quality and cultural impact.
