With well over a decade gone since the first movie debuted to widespread acclaim and box office success, Andy Serkis has a confident update for The Adventures of Tintin 2. Serkis starred in Steven Spielberg's 2011 adaptation of the Herg comic books alongside Jamie Bell in the titular role, Daniel Craig, Nick Frost, Simon Pegg and Toby Jones. Also produced by Lord of the Rings' Peter Jackson, it was the first motion-captured animated movie and non-Pixar title to bring home the Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature, though the proposed Tintin 2 has languished in development hell since.
