DC has already set a high bar for 2025's Superman to surpass concerning its depiction of Lois Lane. As the next upcoming DC movie, aside from the Elseworlds property Joker: Folie Deux, Superman is facing a lot of pressure. Not only does the film have to rectify the characterization mistakes of the DCEU, but it is also responsible for kickstarting the new shared universe crafted by James Gunn. Much of this pressure will be heaped on Superman's ensemble cast as the new versions of DC's most famous characters.
