The Prime Video action series starring John Krasinski as the titular CIA analyst is adapted from the book series of the same name by Tom Clancy, installments of which have previously adapted into multiple movies in various continuities including The Hunt for Red October starring Alec Baldwin and The Sum of All Fears starring Ben Affleck. Jack Ryan season 5 was never renewed, leading the show to conclude with its season 4 finale in 2023.
