Mufasa: The Lion King's live-action poster has been reimagined in the classic style of the original Lion King's 2D art in a stunning recreation. The upcoming Mufasa movie will serve as both a prequel and a sequel to Disney's live-action remake of The Lion King, with Rafiki (John Kani) telling Simba's (Donald Glover) daughter, Kiara (Blue Ivy Carter) about the origin story of the titular lion (Aaron Pierre). While the film will pull elements of the animated franchise into its story, the adventure on display will be entirely original to the live-action universe.
