Following the original show's template, the American version stars Kaitlin Olson as a single mother named Morgan who does maintenance work before demonstrating a knack for crime-solving that compels the LAPD to work with her. Because the two shows are so closely related, HPI is in many ways the perfect replacement for High Potential which, as of writing, is on a mini hiatus. However, because the stories are so closely connected, HPI could inadvertently spoil High Potential for some viewers.
