Aaron Taylor-Johnson opened up about his brief stint in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Back during the lead up to the film's release in 2015, Quicksilver's debut, along with that of his sister, Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, was eagerly anticipated by fans. Just one year earlier, Taylor-Johnson's fellow Kick-Ass star Evan Peters played an alternate version in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Unfortunately, the former's iteration of the character sacrificed himself to save Clint Barton/Hawkeye, and he never reappeared in the MCU.
