The House of the Dragon season 3 filming start window has been confirmed. The Game of Thrones spinoff series released season 2 in summer 2024. The sophomoric effort was met with mixed reviews from audiences, many of whom were frustrated by the House of the Dragon season 2 finale. Nonetheless, the series is confirmed to have a season 3, which will continue the story of the inter-Targaryen struggle for power. House of the Dragon season 3 is currently expected to release in 2026.
