The God of Mischief was notably absent from the fourth Thor film, lining up with his death that occurred in the main MCU timeline in Avengers: Infinity War. However, the character has still been plenty active through his Disney+ solo series. The first season premiered in 2021 to great success, and the second season in 2023 delivered Loki a tragic yet heroic fate.
