New Tyler Perry projects have been revealed at Netflix. The multihyphenate Hollywood talent has previously struck deals with streamers, including both Prime Video and Netflix, to produce movies for their platforms. Most recently, Perry helmed The Six Triple Eightas part of his creative partnership with Netflix. The WW2 period drama is about a group of 855 Black women who band together to fix a multi-year backlog of undelivered mail. The Six Triple Eight has done well on Netflix, and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song.
