The behind-the-scenes teaser clip of Wednesday season 2 from Netflix’s 2024 Geeked Week gives a glimpse at Morticia Addams in a new costume that breaks a long-standing tradition for her character. Ever since the original comics themselves and the 1960s Addams Family sitcom, Morticia Addams has been noted as one of the most iconic horror characters of all time, in part due to her unique costumes and design. Subsequent adaptations of The Addams Family have continued the tradition of giving Morticia elegant black dresses, long black hair, and black makeup, with this style also being adopted by her daughter, Wednesday.
