Fire cannot kill a dragon, but it did kill Viserys Targaryen, the brother of Daenerys Targaryen and former claimant to the Iron Throne, before his Game of Thrones demise. Viserys' fate, being given a "golden crown" by Khal Drogo - who pours molten gold over his head - was one of the biggest deaths in Game of Thrones season 1, and still remains one of the show's very best and most horrific kill scenes.
