- Sourcing of new suppliers and best prices - Developing suppliers together with other departments - Ensuring best prices, delivery terms, payment terms and quality by well negotiating with suppliers - Ensuring all necessary shipping information from suppliers/forwarders (Logistics) - Ensuring arrival of material according to schedule - Obtaining clearing release from shipping agent through clearing agent (Logistic) - Maintaining the Purchasing DataBase (Epicor and others) (information up to date) - Follow up on payments with Accounts to all Vendors - Continuously keeping the MSDS & TDS updated and ensuring proper distribution to concerned parties - Sourcing and negotiating with service providers and contractors - Maintaining local services and contracts (ensure proper performance of second party)
