A Peaky Blinders movie has officially been greenlit at Netflix, with star Cillian Murphy set to reprise his role in the historical drama franchise. The TV series followed Murphy's Tommy Shelby, the figurehead of the series' titular crime group in England following the end of World War I. Peaky Blinders season 6 ended with plenty of stories still left unresolved, something series creator Steven Knight said would be rectified in an upcoming sequel movie.
