The return of my favorite Wallace & Gromit villain after 29 years is more than enough to get me hyped up for the upcoming movie, but Feathers McGraw's comeback is also a sobering reminder that a major piece of the franchise's formula can sadly never be fully replaced. Decades later, I still count Feathers among the best Aardman villains of all time, as the penguin of few words somehow manages to blend comedy with drama all without making a sound. He's one of the most iconic figures in the Wallace & Gromit series, and his homecoming is long overdue.
