Netflix has announced a brand-new animated Ghostbusters series, and there are already a bunch of exciting updates about the '80s franchise's return to the small screen. Truly one of the most iconic properties to come out of the nostalgic 1980s, the Ghostbusters are a rag-tag group of scientists who create technology which allows them to hunt ghosts, for a nominal fee. The 1984 movie was a certified hit, and was followed by a feature film sequel as well as a host of cartoons, toys, video games, and an endless array of other merchandise.
