Warning: This article contains spoilers for Heretic.In 2024's Heretic, two young missionaries find themselves stuck inside the house of Mr. Reed, a man with some dark theories on religion, and in particular, is on the search for his "one true religion." Heretic only premiered in early November, but it has already received advanced praise. Rotten Tomatoes shows that Heretic has a Certified Fresh 93% critics score and a 77% audience score. Part of this success is certainly due to the movie's thrilling and thought-provoking story, but it could also be attributed to Heretic's amazing cast, which includes Hugh Grant, Sophie Thatcher, and Chloe East.
