Taylor Sheridan's seven-time collaborator, James Jordan, explains how Landman will be different from the creator's other shows. Based on the Boomtown podcast and written by the Yellowstone creator, Landman takes a deep dive into the oil business at the heart of West Texas. The series' first episode will air on Sunday, November 17 on Paramount+ and stars Billy Bob Thornton in the lead role as Tommy Norris alongside Demi Moore and Jon Hamm. Jordan has starred in a dozen of Sheridan's TV projects, including Yellowstone, 1883, and Mayor of Kingstown.
