Despite Supernatural ending in 2020, The Boys has set a trend of many reunions from the fantasy show's cast since Eric Kripke created both series. The CW horror fantasy starred Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as two demon-hunting brothers battling the forces of darkness, heaven, and hell. Kripke served as the showrunner for Supernatural's first five seasons, which ultimately continued beyond his leadership for another ten installments and became one of the longest-running American fantasy television series to date.
