It can occasionally be surprising just how intensely overall Netflix viewing habits can clash with the perceptions of highly vocal fandoms. While some of their original series are so firmly entrenched with enormous audiences, others are continuing to grow, with the advantage of growing momentum due to lower waits between seasons. Such is the case of Netflix's One Piece, cruising into season 3 at a far quicker rate than that between seasons 1 and 2, backed by one of the world's biggest anime fandoms. An enormously popular series, One Piece has quickly garnered plenty of comparisons to other fantasy shows, but it turns out One Piece got narrowly outperformed by one particular K-drama.
